At the IOC, every data point, every tool, and every improvement can make a difference in how an airline operates in real time. As an Analytics \& Innovation Specialist, you will join the new Digital Transformation Office, contributing to projects that drive the technological, analytical, and operational evolution at the heart of the company. Through analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and progressive functional expertise development, you will help maximize the value of critical solutions and processes for operations. **In Your Day-to-Day:** * Support IOC operations by preparing meetings, tracking action items, and analyzing data to derive insights, building a solid understanding of operational processes. * Participate in the evolution of internal tools, working with RFP documentation, contributing to project deliverables, and developing functional expertise during implementation phases. * Develop deep understanding of tool functionalities and system interrelationships, contributing to project management initiatives and continuous improvement of solutions. * Progressively assume product ownership responsibilities after tools go live, driving continuous improvement, functional adoption, and maximizing value generated by implemented solutions. * Collaborate on additional innovation projects, fostering cross-departmental collaboration and identifying new opportunities through monitoring of emerging technologies—especially in automation, analytics, and optimization/operations research. **Requirements:** --------------- **What Will Make You Successful in This Role:** * Analytical mindset and problem-solving orientation: your ability to interpret information, identify patterns, and propose solutions will be key in a complex operational environment. * Interest in aviation, tourism, or transportation sectors: curiosity about how airline operations function will help you add value from day one. * Learning agility and adaptability: you will work with diverse tools, departments, and teams, so your flexibility and willingness to learn will set you apart. * Attention to detail and structured thinking: ensuring the quality of information, processes, and deliverables will be essential to progress rigorously. * Proficiency in workplace and analytical tools: mastery of Microsoft Office—especially Excel and PowerPoint—will be integral to your daily work. Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, statistics, R, Python, and/or machine learning techniques is valued but not mandatory. * Communication and interaction in international settings: a high level of English—both spoken and written—will enable effective collaboration in a global and multidisciplinary context. **What We Are Looking For:** * University degree in Engineering or Business Administration and Management, with internships or academic experience in airline, consulting, or technology environments preferred. * Between 1 and 2 years of professional experience. * Genuine interest in the aviation, tourism, or transportation sectors. * Availability to frequently work onsite at the Llucmajor IOC.
