We are seeking to hire a Technical Engineer for Procurement and Logistics to manage end-to-end procurement and logistics of materials for our electromechanical and telecommunications installation projects, acting as the liaison between the technical office, construction sites, suppliers, and logistics. #### **Job Mission** Ensure efficient, on-time, and technically compliant supply of materials and equipment, optimizing costs while guaranteeing technical and regulatory quality—thereby supporting project execution timelines and overall project profitability. #### **Key Responsibilities** **Technical Procurement Management** * End-to-end management of procurement processes for installation materials and equipment: (Electrical, HVAC & ventilation, Plumbing & fire protection, Telecommunications: voice, data, GPON, CCTV, access control, BMS) * Analysis of technical specifications, quantity take-offs, and bills of materials (BOM). * Requesting, comparative analysis, and negotiation of quotations with suppliers and manufacturers. * Issuance, control, and tracking of purchase orders. * Supplier qualification and continuous evaluation (costs, quality, delivery times, reliability). **Logistics and Supply Coordination** * Planning and coordination of material deliveries to construction sites according to project schedules. * Warehouse management and stock control. * Tracking of critical supplies and resolution of logistics issues. * Ensuring material availability to prevent disruptions to site execution. **Budgetary Control and Optimization** * Monitoring of procurement costs against budget. * Identification of variances and proposal of corrective actions. * Continuous pursuit of cost, timeline, and process efficiency improvements in procurement and logistics. **Internal Coordination** * Direct coordination with (Technical Office, Site Managers, Production, and Planning teams) * Support to construction planning regarding supply lead times and critical materials. **Document Management and Regulatory Compliance** * Management and control of technical documentation for materials and equipment: (technical datasheets, CE certificates) * Verification of compliance with applicable regulations (REBT, RITE, ICT, UNE, ISO, among others). #### **Required Education** * Technical Engineering degree or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or related fields), preferably. * Otherwise, proven and substantial experience in procurement and logistics management within the sector will be considered. **Valuable Additional Training** * Procurement and logistics management. * Project Management. * Lean / process optimization. * Occupational Health and Safety (OHS). #### **Required Experience** * Minimum of **3–5 years** of experience in: (engineering firms, electromechanical installation contractors, EPC or turnkey project companies) * Experience in projects involving: (commercial buildings—hotels, hospitals, offices—as well as industrial environments, infrastructure, telecommunications, and special systems.) #### **Technical Knowledge** * Materials and equipment used in electromechanical and telecommunications installations. * Applicable technical regulations (REBT, RITE, ICT, UNE, ISO). * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. * Management of national and international suppliers. #### **Tools** * ERP systems (SAP, Navision, SAGE, Oracle, or similar). * Microsoft Office (advanced Excel proficiency). * Planning and control tools. * Valuable technical software: AutoCAD, Presto, MS Project. #### **Key Competencies** * Strong negotiation skills. * Organization and planning capabilities. * Results orientation
