The position involves repairing, assembling, and maintaining tooling and molds in accordance with established quality parameters and procedures. The role requires constant interaction with various machine tools and control systems, ensuring all equipment operates optimally and meets production deadlines in Santa Perpètua de Mogoda.
The professional will be responsible for using equipment such as CNC machines, grinders, lathes, presses, and drills to perform mold and tooling adjustment, repair, and both preventive and corrective maintenance. Additionally, they must efficiently manage information regarding mold transfer and location via control software, ensuring full traceability. A key part of the job involves reviewing work orders, complying with technical specifications, and updating data in relevant applications to accurately reflect the status of each project.
The position demands meticulous attention to detail and in-depth technical knowledge, as the activities performed directly impact final product quality and production line efficiency. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work autonomously within a dynamic, results-oriented environment are required, always prioritizing safety and compliance with industry standards.
A vocational qualification (CFGM or CFGS) in Maintenance, Mechanics, or related fields is required, complemented by a minimum of five years of demonstrable experience in a similar role—specifically in the maintenance and adjustment of molds for injection molding machines. Advanced knowledge of CAM/CNC programming and operation is essential, as is hands-on experience in mold assembly and adjustment, including hot runner systems and associated hydraulic and electrical connections. Competence in welding techniques and proficiency with tools such as lathes and drills are also valued.
