Backed by GCO Ventures, we are building **Aurela Health**, a digital mental health platform that combines technology with a structured care model to deliver more accessible, faster, and personalized therapies. Through an ecosystem of specialized psychologists and digital tools, Aurela Health enables each person to receive the right intervention at the right time—reducing waiting times and improving adherence and outcomes. We are seeking a person to join our team as a **Full Stack Developer (with a backend focus)** to drive Aurela’s technological evolution, accelerate value delivery, and build a solid, scalable technical foundation. #### **Responsibilities** * Propose and develop new product features both on the backend (Python/Django) and frontend (TypeScript/Next.js), ensuring continuous delivery of value. * Evolve and optimize existing features, guaranteeing quality, performance, and scalability in a growing environment. * Design and maintain APIs, external integrations (e.g., Stripe), and internal services—prioritizing stability and clarity. * Ensure engineering best practices (testing, clean code, modularity), maintaining a robust and sustainable architecture. * Participate in key technical decisions and in defining the product’s evolution, working directly with the CTO and product and business teams. * Manage and improve cloud infrastructure and containerized services. * Collaborate smoothly with the rest of the team—sharing knowledge and working under Agile methodologies. * Contribute to developing and consolidating internal technical expertise, helping build a robust, shared technology base within Aurela. **Our tech stack:** Python, Django, TypeScript, Next.js, Microsoft Azure, PostgreSQL, Redis, Docker, Jira, Git, Stripe. #### **Requirements** * 4+ years of professional Full Stack development experience, working end-to-end across backend, frontend, and production deployments. * Strong proficiency in Python and Django (must-have). * Experience developing with TypeScript or Next.js (or equivalent). * Proficiency in relational databases (ideally PostgreSQL). * Experience working in cloud environments (ideally Azure) and ability to enhance existing infrastructure. * Proficiency with Docker for developing and deploying containerized services. * Experience integrating external services (e.g., payments, subscriptions, webhooks). * Usage of Redis (or equivalent) for caching, queues, or performance improvements. * Application of engineering best practices (e.g., testing, clean code, DDD, modular/hexagonal architecture). * Experience working in multidisciplinary teams using Agile methodologies. * Spanish communication skills and technical English reading proficiency. **Especially valued:** * This is an ideal role for profiles who enjoy deep backend work but are also comfortable contributing to frontend development when required by the product. * Knowledge of healthtech or regulated environments. * Prior experience in startups or growing product teams. #### **Benefits** * Join an ambitious, high-impact project and team. * 28 vacation days. * Offices in central Barcelona (2 days remote per week). * Professional development opportunities.
