At Universitat Internacional de Catalunya, we are seeking a Laboratory Technician for our Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. The Biomedicine Laboratory spans an area of 340 m2 and hosts research groups and practical teaching activities from the Department of Basic Sciences of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences and the Bioengineering Institute of Technology. Below are some of its **main responsibilities**: * Experience in laboratory organization * Preparation of reagents * Basic use of laboratory equipment * Execution of purchase requests **Position conditions** * Permanent position * Part-time schedule (8:00–13:00 or 9:00–14:00, depending on needs) * 37\-40 working days of vacation per year, accrued * On-site work * Continuing training plan * Access to special conditions for studies within our offerings: undergraduate degrees, master's programs, and postgraduate courses; English and Catalan language training; competencies and technical skills: Excel, Mailchimp, Google Drive, Power BI, etc. * Active participation in a humanistic organization committed to its purpose: https://www.uic.es/es/universidad/uic\-barcelona/filosofia\-y\-valores **Minimum educational requirements:** * Higher Vocational Training Cycle (FP2\), equivalent to Laboratory Technician qualification. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office is mandatory **Minimum professional experience:** * Minimum of 6 months’ experience as a laboratory technician * Thorough knowledge of laboratory materials is mandatory **Required skills and competencies:** * Ability to work effectively in a team * Organizational capacity regarding both work tasks and the work environment * Proactivity and initiative
