




**Job Title: Automation Technician** * **POSITION DESCRIPTION** * Responsible for industrial process automation from electrical, instrumentation, programming, and control/supervision perspectives. * Participate in the design, development, and supervision of factory improvement projects by managing and/or implementing necessary changes in control systems (PLC, HMI, SCADA, and DMO\-MES), ensuring compliance with Nestle standards, and taking responsibility for the proper transfer of these modifications to maintenance and operations teams. * Provide support to the maintenance team and actively participate in workgroups focused on adding value to processes. * **YOUR DAY TO DAY…** * **Daily Operations and Maintenance:** * Participate in and/or lead improvement analysis and incident diagnostics, assisting the maintenance team in understanding process functionality and/or in gathering data and drawing conclusions. * Design necessary changes in control systems (PLC, HMI, SCADA, and DMO\-MES) due to physical or functional modifications in production lines. * Implement and/or supervise the implementation of changes in the factory's control systems (PLC, HMI, SCADA, and DMO\-MES). * Manage changes in PLC, HMI, SCADA, and DMO\-MES applications, ensuring that both backup copies of control systems and documentation of these systems and their components are kept up to date. * Identify required hardware updates in control systems. * Plan and apply knowledge of the ANSI/ISA\-95 standard. * Ensure efficiency in both personal tasks and collaboration with internal teams and external companies, aligned with the NCE philosophy, through participation in operational meetings and alignment, as well as the use of problem-failure resolution tools (IVAA, BDA, DMAIC). * **Projects:** * Design the control system architecture to achieve maximum possible integration, ensuring compliance with FAS rules and the implementation of applicable DMO\-MES modules. * Participate in defining the URS, contributing both to its creation and to reviewing the URS provided by the corresponding TCU in standardized process areas. * Define the FDS, review the FDS provided by the corresponding TCU in standardized process areas, or validate the FDS proposed by the project integrator. * Supervise the correct execution of the project, ensuring achievement of project timelines, alignment of control systems with specifications, adherence to local and corporate standards, and compliance with the budget. * Lead Project Acceptance Testing (FAT, SAT) by defining necessary criteria to ensure, prior to commissioning, that the control system is reliable and meets defined specifications. * Participate in Project Commissioning and Validation. * Manage changes in PLC, HMI, SCADA, and DMO\-MES applications affected by the project, ensuring that both backup copies of control systems and documentation of these systems and their components are kept up to date. * **DOES YOUR PROFILE FIT?** * Engineering degree * Courses/Specialization in Electronics, Automation, and Computer Science * Training and/or specific experience: PLC and SCADA programming, preferably Rockwell and Aveva Wonderware. Previous experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role * High-level English proficiency (4\)
