Preparation of performance reports **Description:** ---------------- We are looking to incorporate a **Photovoltaic Installation Monitoring Technician** into our team at the **Valencia** offices. Your main mission will be to **supervise the proper operation of our clients' various photovoltaic installations**, aiming to achieve maximum performance. You will monitor production outputs and alarms, provide remote monitoring support to field technicians/contractors performing preventive and/or corrective maintenance, and occasionally join the Operation and Maintenance field technician team. **Key responsibilities include:** * Executing the daily monitoring protocol to control production across all our clients’ photovoltaic plants. * Analyzing production data from each photovoltaic plant. * Receiving and analyzing alarms generated by the photovoltaic plants’ automated systems. * Remotely resolving communication issues along the photovoltaic plants’ chain and in various components thereof. * Performing preliminary fault diagnosis to generate Work Orders and notify pending incidents to the Coordinator. * Preparing specialized performance and production reports for the department and clients. * Assisting in preparing reports on preventive and corrective actions carried out at photovoltaic plants. * Supporting field teams in on-site resolution of communication and complex equipment issues. * Providing remote support to technicians, subcontractors, and clients regarding inverter faults, configuration of communication devices, software, etc. * Occasionally attending photovoltaic plants as an O&M field technician to conduct inspections, preventive maintenance, repairs, configurations, and on-site data collection. **Requirements:** --------------- * Advanced computer and office software skills * Basic technical knowledge of electricity in general * Field tool handling experience * Valid driver’s license * Advanced knowledge of industrial communications and networks; configuration of switches, routers, and firewalls * Advanced knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus RTU, TCP, IEC, Ethernet) * Knowledge of VBA for Office Highly desirable: * Intermediate programming language skills (Visual Basic, Java, Python) * Database knowledge (MySQL, SQL Server, Access) * Proficiency in MS Query and Power BI
