We're looking for a **Senior Scientific Data Curator/Analyst** with proven experience driving biomedical data curation and harmonisation from scoping through delivery. This is a high\-ownership role ideal for someone who thrives in complex scientific domains and enjoys cross\-functional collaboration. This role combines **deep domain expertise (**biomedical terminology, structured data, and ontologies**)** with **project leadership** — from scoping and standards design to delivery, QA, and stakeholder coordination. **In this role, you will:** * Lead curation workstreams across client projects and internal initiatives. * Extract, structure, and normalize data from scientific sources (literature, protocols, repositories). * Design annotation guidelines and review AI\-assisted outputs. * Own ontology and vocabulary development: mapping, gap resolution, governance. * Build and maintain schemas, traceability logic, and acceptance criteria. * Collaborate across data, product, and engineering teams to scale data harmonisation workflows. * Contribute to pre\-sales, estimation, and delivery planning in professional services contexts. **We would like you to have:** * Degree in Biomedical Sciences, Bioinformatics, or related field (MSc/PhD preferred). * 5\+ years experience in scientific data curation, metadata design, or ontology management. * Deep familiarity with vocabularies/ontologies (e.g., MeSH, NCIt, EFO, ChEBI, Cellosaurus, etc.). * Experience working with unstructured biomedical content and structured repositories. * Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills. * Comfortable reviewing AI/LLM\-assisted outputs and improving automation strategies. * Experience leading curation in services or consulting settings with delivery responsibility. * Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, R) for QA or automation. * Excellent communication skills in English. **It would be nice for you to have:** * Prior experience as a Team Lead on data curation projects. * Exposure to **LLM\-based or AI\-assisted curation workflows**. **We offer you:** * international team of professionals; * fully paid sick leaves; * onboarding and domain training for newcomers; * flexible work schedule.
