Job Summary: We are seeking an AI Applications Engineer/Programmer for Engineering, responsible for driving, designing, and implementing AI solutions for calculations across various engineering disciplines, and developing applications in BIM, digital twin, and advanced simulation environments. We handle the conception, development, and construction of power plants and their components, covering conventional technologies such as combined cycles, biomass, etc., as well as emerging renewable and future-oriented technologies such as offshore wind, green hydrogen, grid flexibility, circular economy, and sustainability. We are currently expanding our team with an AI Applications Engineer/Programmer for Engineering. More specifically, you will be responsible for driving, proposing, designing, implementing, and optimizing AI-based solutions for engineering calculations (structures, processes, energy), as well as developing applications in **BIM**, **digital twin**, and advanced simulation environments. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate AI into conventional and renewable energy plant projects. **Your Responsibilities:** You will be responsible for proposing, developing, and supervising AI applications related to Power Plant and Energy Grid engineering, and Oil & Gas; including Big Data, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, Generative Design, Optimization, and Cloud Computing applied to: * All types of engineering calculations and specifications for Electricity, Instrumentation & Control, Chemical & Thermodynamic Processes, Civil Works & Structures, and Piping for Power Plants (conventional and renewable generation, and storage), circular economy, Oil & Gas, and industrial facilities in general. * Procurement, subcontracting, logistics, construction, and commissioning activities for energy facilities. * Industrial BIM environments, including intelligent 3D modeling, 2D drawings and schematics, document management, databases of all kinds, diagrams, simulators, and digital twins. Additionally: * You will drive the identification of needs, definition, and launch of new AI applications related to power and industrial plant engineering and emerging technologies (green economy); including outreach talks, idea generation, and detailed coordination and formulation of use cases. * You will be responsible for identifying and implementing new commercial AI software tools applicable to engineering, design, and construction activities. Technology monitoring and analysis of possible interfaces. * You will coordinate and standardize AI methodologies across offices in different countries (primarily Brazil and Mexico). **What We Expect From You:** * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer Science, Industrial, Telecommunications, Energy) or equivalent, plus a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence. A Bachelor’s/Master’s in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or Computational Engineering would also be valuable. * Knowledge of industrial processes and the energy or Oil & Gas sector. * Advanced level of English (B2 or higher).
