We are seeking a dynamic, motivated, and experienced **Maintenance Specialist** to join our team on a **temporary** basis, covering a long-term medical leave. **About La Crisálida Retreats** La Crisálida Retreats is a health and wellness retreat located in the tranquil town of El Albir on the Costa Blanca. We offer a unique experience through transformative wellness programs focused on nutrition, movement, rest, healthy mindset, and holistic well-being. **About the Position** Reporting directly to the *Duty Manager*, you will support the daily operations of the center by ensuring that facilities, guest rooms, and outdoor areas are maintained to a high standard of functionality, safety, and presentation. **Key Responsibilities** * Perform general maintenance and minor repairs in plumbing, electricity, carpentry, and painting. * Carry out gardening tasks and outdoor area maintenance (*pruning, irrigation, pathway cleaning, and furniture upkeep*). * Conduct basic pool maintenance, filter inspections, and water quality control. * Perform periodic inspections of facilities, lighting, air conditioning systems, and electrical equipment. * Respond promptly to repair requests logged in the system or reported by staff. * Assist with furniture assembly and relocation in common areas and guest rooms. * Monitor and manage inventory of maintenance materials and tools. * Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations (PRL) and work discreetly to respect guest tranquility. **Requirements** * Minimum 1 year of experience in general maintenance, concierge, or technical services roles (experience in hospitality or retreat centers is an advantage). * Knowledge of plumbing, basic electricity, painting, and gardening. * Training in Occupational Health and Safety (PRL). * Proactive, solution-oriented, organized, and capable of autonomous work. * Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented attitude. * Proficiency in English/Spanish is a plus for communicating with international team members and guests. **Contract Details** * **Contract type:** Temporary replacement contract (long-term medical leave coverage). * **Working hours:** 30 hours per week * **Location:** El Albir (Alicante).
