DESCRIPTION We are **Grupo Motor Pacífico**, **a group with over 25 years of experience in the automotive sector**, possessing thorough regional expertise across all areas and locations where we operate. We are recruiting a **Vehicle Painter with basic bodywork knowledge for our workshop in Rivas**. **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform diagnosis of minor bodywork damage (interior and exterior panels, repair or replacement of windscreens or glass or plastic components, upholstery repairs, etc.), according to manufacturer guidelines, to assess the full scope of repair required. * Prepare vehicles for painting (sanding, filling, masking). * Paint and polish vehicles. * Carry out disassembly, assembly, and adjustment operations for all types of bodywork accessories and/or trim components. * Assist in preparing, disassembling, and assembling bodywork components for subsequent intervention in the panel beating and mechanical processes. * Inform the Workshop Manager, as applicable, and maintain necessary records when any product quality defect is observed during intervention that could cause a breakdown, impair functionality, or compromise customer safety. * Provide technical support to the Service Advisor, whenever deemed necessary by the Body & Paint or Mechanical Workshop Manager, regarding the scope of intervention and explanation of associated repair work. * Ensure functionality, safety, and cleanliness of one’s workstation and the bodywork workshop in general. * Perform duties in compliance with current occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations. **Key Competencies for the Role:** * **Diagnosis and repair of minor bodywork defects:** Identify damage and carry out repairs following manufacturer specifications. * **Vehicle preparation and painting:** Prepare surfaces, apply paint, and achieve high-quality finishes. * **Assembly and adjustment of components:** Precisely disassemble and assemble bodywork components and accessories. * **Quality, safety, and teamwork:** Guarantee repair quality, comply with safety regulations, and collaborate effectively with other workshop staff. **Job Requirements:** * Medium or higher vocational education * Demonstrable experience of at least 3 years in vehicle painting * Basic knowledge of bodywork **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary * Career development plan and training * Monday to Friday working hours from 07:00 to 15:00 * Positive work environment and job stability.
