A Spanish manufacturer of aircraft interior components — carpets, upholstery, covers, and cabin elements — with EASA design, production, and maintenance certifications, seeks to hire a **Quality Auditor & SMS Analyst** to strengthen its regulatory compliance and operational safety management functions. The position is based in **Madrid** and reports directly to the Director of Quality & SMS. The successful candidate will support the company’s three EASA approvals — DOA (Part 21J), POA (Part 21G), and MOA (Part 145) — in a cross-functional role combining internal auditing, non-conformance follow-up, and active Safety Management System (SMS) oversight. This is a high-visibility position within the organization, with direct participation in key safety committees. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Verify and monitor compliance with EASA Part 21J, Part 21G, and Part 145 requirements, as well as DOH, POE, and MOE procedures, through an independent program of scheduled audits and inspections. * Track and close non-conformances, evaluating the implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions to prevent recurrence. * Periodically assess and monitor material suppliers and service subcontractors. * Identify hazards in operations, evaluate operational risks according to the SMS tolerability criteria, and propose mitigation measures in SRB committees. * Manage the internal safety event reporting system: classify events per Regulation (EU) 2015/1018 taxonomy and initiate safety investigations. * Analyze SPI indicator trends and produce periodic reports on SMS maturity level. * Train staff on SMS and Human Factors (HF). **REQUIREMENTS** * Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering. * Minimum 3 years’ experience in a comparable role within the aviation sector. * **Advanced English proficiency (mandatory).** * Specific training in **EASA Part 21 and Part 145 regulations**. * Training in **Safety Management Systems (SMS)** and **Human Factors (HF)**. * Knowledge of **ISO 9001** and **EN 9100** quality management system standards. * Proficiency in audit techniques, inspection methods, evidence analysis, hazard identification, risk management, and safety investigations. * Familiarity with ICAO standards and the principles of a “just culture”. * Objective, mature, analytically capable profile with strong oral and written communication skills. **WHAT THE COMPANY OFFERS** * Opportunity to join an EASA-certified manufacturing company in a cross-functional role with direct visibility at senior management level. * Permanent contract and full-time employment. * **Salary: €30,000–€35,000 gross per annum** * **On-site work model in Boadilla del Monte** * Active participation in safety committees and in the evolution of the company’s SMS. * A position offering genuine autonomy and career growth potential within the Quality & Safety function.
