It recycles ferrous scrap to produce steel using electric arc furnaces, applying the most sustainable and energy-efficient technology.* We are looking for a **Maritime Documentation Technician** for one of our central offices located in **Castellbisbal (Barcelona).** **Your mission will be to prepare the documents accompanying maritime exports according to different payment methods, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, optimizing submission processes to customers and financial institutions, and maintaining the company's quality standards.** **What will your responsibilities be?** Carry out the documentation for maritime exports according to commercial requirements, respecting destination countries' regulations, complying with banking regulations (if applicable), and supervising the correct execution of customs formalities: * Verify that all necessary information is available to properly document the operation; if additional details are required, request them from the sales manager or the corresponding ‘*customer service*’ technician. * Enter shipping instructions (IE’s) into SAP's shipment traceability system to distribute to all parties involved in the shipping process (maritime department technicians, warehouse, freight forwarders, etc.) the necessary requirements that the material and shipment must meet. * Prepare internal shipping documentation according to the payment method and in coordination with other relevant departments. * Contact ‘*forwarders*’ and shipping agents to obtain transport documents. Issue instructions for preparing BLs and supervise their correct issuance. * Monitor and obtain certificates issued by other external providers (chambers of commerce, inspection companies, etc.) to complete the set of shipping documents. * Instruct the customs representative to process the export once the material is ready for shipment and verify that the provided customs documentation is accurate and has been issued according to customs regulations and AEO standards. * Submit documentation to financial institutions when the payment method is a letter of credit or documentary collection, and follow up on their review to achieve document compliance and confirm the reimbursement date. * Check that the reimbursement dates provided by financial institutions comply with the terms of the letters of credit. * Maintain electronic records and archiving of files according to the established procedure. * Collaborate with Administration and other departments involved in the customs process to resolve customs incidents involving corrections and submission of additional required documents, as well as their registration according to AEO procedures. * Assist in gathering and providing documentation required by insurers in case of claims. * Review and approve certification company invoices according to established rates and terms. Ensure prompt payment collection by providing customers with the necessary documentation to carry out import procedures. Understand banking and customs regulations to ensure compliance in the sales operation. **What do we require?** * Minimum education: FPII or CFGS.
