The Knipex cable cutter 9536280 is suitable for cutting single- and multi-strand copper (Cu) and aluminum (Al) cables. It features hardened cutting edges with precision grinding, enabling smooth and clean cuts without compressing the cables. Thanks to its ratchet principle, it allows easy one-handed operation, while the clamp guard prevents crushing injuries. Due to its very high gear ratio and two-speed gear-wheel transmission, only minimal force is required. Its low weight and compact design enable easy handling even in confined spaces. The 9536280 cable cutter is made of special tool steel of premium quality, forged and oil-hardened, insulated with multi-component housings, and VDE-tested. It complies with insulation standard IEC 60900 / DIN EN 60900.
