DESCRIPTION We are seeking a **Functional Analyst** at **AVOS Tech** to participate in an SISnet implementation project in the insurance sector, with a focus on the Death Insurance (Decesos) line of business. You will serve as the liaison between business areas and technical teams, analyzing underwriting, portfolio management, and administration processes, and translating them into clear functional definitions for configuration and implementation. You will be involved throughout the entire functional lifecycle—from requirements gathering to solution validation and deployment. **Location:** Madrid, Spain **Work Mode:** Hybrid **Contract Type:** Permanent **Key Responsibilities** * Analyze and gather functional requirements together with business stakeholders for underwriting, pricing, policy issuance, portfolio management, and policy administration processes. * Translate business rules from the insurance domain into detailed functional specifications, use cases, and acceptance criteria understandable by technical teams. * Define processes related to receipt management, recoveries, remittances, and portfolio maintenance, ensuring their correct adaptation and configuration in SISnet. * Collaborate with architecture and development teams to resolve functional queries, validate designs, and support the proper execution of integrations and associated developments. * Design and execute functional tests and participate in UAT phases, verifying that the implemented solution meets defined requirements and business rules. * Analyze functional incidents detected during testing or deployment, identify their root cause, and coordinate resolution with business and technology teams. * Provide functional support during implementation and production go-live, especially regarding policy logic, underwriting, and portfolio management. * Maintain up-to-date functional documentation and ensure traceability among requirements, implemented solution, and executed tests. REQUIREMENTS **Mandatory Requirements** * 2–3 years of experience as a Functional Analyst in technology projects within the insurance sector. * Familiarity with core policy lifecycle processes: underwriting, pricing, issuance, administration, receipts, and portfolio management. * Experience in eliciting and analyzing requirements jointly with end users and business stakeholders. * Experience preparing functional specifications, use cases, acceptance criteria, and documentation tailored for development teams. * Participation in functional testing, development validation, or UAT processes within system implementation or enhancement projects. * Ability to analyze complex business rules and translate them into structured, functionally consistent, and technically implementable requirements. * Strong communication skills to interact effectively with business, architecture, development, and testing profiles. **Desirable Requirements** * Prior experience in projects related to the Death Insurance (Decesos) line of business—or alternatively, in Life or Accident lines with a strong administrative and portfolio management component. * Previous experience in SISnet implementation, enhancement, or configuration projects. * Knowledge of SISnet’s functional logic, modules, screens, or configuration model. * Specific experience in risk selection processes, receipt management, recoveries, remittances, or policy maintenance. * Participation in core insurance platform transformation or migration projects. \#LI\-JH1 \#AVOSTechJobs \#Hybrid
