




Job Summary: We are seeking a Technical-Commercial Director to lead the agency’s technical activities, drive business growth, and supervise a team of junior underwriters. Provide technical supervision and mentoring to junior underwriting team. **Description** --------------- At CHANCE Underwriting Agency, WTW Group’s underwriting agency, we are seeking a Technical-Commercial Director to lead the agency’s technical activities and drive business development. The role will be responsible for supervising the junior underwriting team and serve as a key point of contact for insurers and various distribution channels. **Main Responsibilities:** * Technical supervision and mentoring of the junior underwriting team across the Agency’s various products. * Preparation of quotations and technical support in underwriting. * **Claims monitoring, analysis and review**, identifying trends and improvement opportunities. * Management and maintenance of day-to-day **relationships with insurers**. * Definition of **renewal terms**, and support in negotiation processes. * Active participation in drafting and reviewing wordings, both for new products and modifications to existing ones. * Development of relationships with **distribution channels**, to foster growth and enhance the Agency’s business competitiveness. **Qualifications** ------------------ **Requirements:** * University degree. * Preferably qualified as an **insurance actuary**. * Minimum of **4–6 years’ experience as an underwriter** or technical director, ideally in **Property, Liability and Transport** lines, both at insurer and broker levels. * Strong organizational and management skills. * Proficiency in **team management**. * Ability to make autonomous, results-oriented decisions. * Excellent communication and client relationship skills. * Ability to work collaboratively within teams and across claims and distribution functions. * **High level of English**. *We’re committed to equal employment opportunity and provide application, interview and workplace adjustments and accommodations to all applicants.
