To lead necessary transformation projects unifying disparate local architectures, converging toward a more efficient global architecture. **What will your day-to-day be like?** As a PUBLIC CLOUD TECHNICAL ENGINEER (Kubernetes Administrator) at Telefónica Cybersecurity & Cloud Tech Spain, your mission will be to support the technical team in resolving complex incidents and provisioning tasks. Your main responsibilities would include: + Implementing (via IaC), administering, and monitoring Kubernetes environments across various public clouds, both in IaaS and KaaS modes: AKS, EKS, GKE, OKE, etc. + Administration of OpenShift-based environments (on-premises, ROSA, ARO, etc.) + Monitoring and logging of Kubernetes environments using native public cloud tools. + Monitoring and logging of Kubernetes environments (IaaS, on-premises) using monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Loki, etc. + Migration of Kubernetes environments across different public clouds, as well as from on-premises to public clouds. + Performing and supporting client deployments on Kubernetes environments using kubectl, Helm, and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, GitLab, etc.). + Keeping environments updated at both infrastructure and application levels. + Implementation of cloud and multicloud infrastructures. + Fulfillment of contracted service-level agreements (SLAs) + Process automation + Proposal of service improvements + Application of DevOps methodology + Change management + Incident management + Problem management + Knowledge management **And for this, we believe it would be ideal if you had…** **Experience** * 3 years in similar roles. **Education** Required: * Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree. * An MBA or Master’s degree in technical fields will be considered favorably. Desirable: * Official certifications in hyperscaler environments: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud * Kubernetes certifications: CKA, CKAD, OpenShift, etc. * Kafka knowledge (deployment and management in containerized environments) will be valued. * Official certifications in Agile project management methodologies (PMP, ITIL) will be valued. **Technical Skills** * In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes, both KaaS (AKS, GKE, EKS, etc.) and IaaS/on-premises (OpenShift, Rancher, native K8s, etc.).
