**Position Title:** SENIOR TECHNICIAN FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY

If you are seeking a new professional challenge where you will contribute to transforming the energy sector, we are looking for a "SENIOR TECHNICIAN FOR RENEWABLE ENERGY" to join our E\&C Iberia team in Santiago de Compostela.**Who will you work with?**The E\&C Support role will play a key part in strengthening the safety and environmental culture across thermal project construction and decommissioning processes.
You will operate in a stimulating and dynamic environment, actively involved in addressing the major challenges Power Generation Iberia will face this year. You will collaborate closely with the E\&C Coordinator and the E\&C Department, as well as synergize with the company’s main departments within an environment that values professional expertise and individual contributions, promoting proactive attitudes and innovative problem-solving.**What will your responsibilities be?**In particular, your activities will focus on:
* Implementing and ensuring compliance with the Safety, Environment, and Quality Policy across Power Generation Iberia’s construction/decommissioning projects;
* Developing procedures in accordance with national and international legislation and as directed by Power Generation Iberia, the E\&C Department, and the Joint Prevention Service, while ensuring their implementation;
* Acting as E\&C support for the E\&C Department (Project Managers, Site Managers, etc.);
* Providing technical support and coordinating Safety and Health Coordinators and Environmental Coordinators across various construction/decommissioning projects that Power Generation Iberia will undertake in different regions;
* Participating in all pre\-authorization phases of projects, contributing expertise in your area of competence;
* Proposing and developing technical and process solutions to E\&C-related issues;
* Coordinating the implementation and monitoring of improvement initiatives and projects aimed at eliminating or reducing occupational health and safety and/or environmental risks;
* Defining and conducting field audits and inspections;
* Coordinating with Power Gen. Iberia’s E\&C representatives;
* Managing a national-level work team;
* Availability for domestic travel.
**What is required?**Essential requirements to perform this role are:**Education:** Technical Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. Master’s degree in Occupational Risk Prevention, specializing in Safety. Senior Technician qualification in Occupational Risk Prevention, specializing in Safety; additional specialization in Hygiene and Ergonomics and Psychosociology will be valued.
**Digital Skills:** Basic MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and Teams.
**Professional Experience:** In occupational risk prevention; in safety and health coordination. Experience in wind farm and/or photovoltaic plant construction, as well as thermal plants and demolition, will be valued.
**Additional qualifications that will be valued:** Construction Safety and Health Coordinator certification. Master’s degree in Environmental Specialization. Auditor training in Management Systems is desirable. Experience in power plant Operation and Maintenance is also desirable.
**Professional Experience:** Knowledge of key electricity generation processes (preferably in the renewable business) and/or E\&C. Experience in power plant Operation and Maintenance is desirable.
**Languages:** English and Italian.
