Job Summary: We are seeking a veterinary inspection assistant to conduct post-mortem inspections of carcasses, viscera, and slaughterhouse operations, ensuring regulatory compliance and performing hygiene controls. Key Responsibilities: 1. Post-mortem inspection of carcasses and viscera 2. Ensure regulatory compliance in food and animal health 3. Candidates must be trained in Veterinary Science or hold a professional certification in sanitary control assistance at slaughterhouses, or possess official accreditation as a veterinary inspection assistant. Main duties include post-mortem inspection of carcasses, viscera, and slaughterhouse operations, ensuring compliance with regulations concerning food, feed, animal health, and welfare. Hygiene controls in meat production, detection of veterinary drug residues and contaminants, and segregation of suspect products under the supervision of the official veterinarian are also performed. A temporary replacement contract is offered, full-time schedule, afternoon shift from Monday to Friday. Availability for afternoon shifts is valued; possession of a valid driver's license and personal vehicle for commuting to the workplace is preferred.
