Electromechanical Substation Design Engineer

**We are seeking an Electromechanical Substation Design Engineer** to join the Substations Department of an established and growing engineering company. The selected candidate will participate in the design and development of electrical substation projects, collaborating across all technical project phases and reporting to the Area Manager. **Main responsibilities** ------------------------- * Prepare administrative substation projects, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and technical requirements. * Develop technical specifications for procurement of equipment and materials associated with the projects. * Draft tender documents, technical tender documentation, and quantity take-offs. * Design and develop detailed engineering projects for electromechanical installations in electrical substations. * Participate in the design and definition of civil works associated with the installations. * Perform structural steelwork, foundation, and auxiliary component design required for project execution. * Collaborate in defining technical solutions for electromechanical installation of substations. * Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure correct integration of all project components. * Provide technical support during various project development and execution phases. **Required profile** -------------------- * Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent qualification. * Minimum 3 years’ experience in design and development of electrical substation projects or similar roles. * Knowledge of electromechanical design and high-voltage installations. * Experience in preparing technical documentation, administrative projects, and detailed engineering projects. * Ability to draft technical specifications, quantity take-offs, and tender documentation. * Initiative, autonomy, and capacity to assume increasing responsibilities within the engineering area. * Valuable experience using structural and foundation calculation tools. * Teamwork skills and commitment to technical quality of projects. **What we offer** ----------------- * Indefinite-term contract and professional stability. * Flexible working hours. * Health insurance, meal vouchers, and childcare vouchers through an attractive flexible compensation plan. * Comprehensive professional training and development program. * Participation in reference projects within the electrical and energy sector. * Innovative, collaborative, and people-focused professional environment. * Real opportunities for professional growth within an internationally present company.
