We are looking for a highly qualified and dedicated Fire Extinguisher Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and maintenance of our Fire Protection Systems (FPS), playing a crucial role in the overall safety of our clients. Responsibilities: 1. Inspection and preventive maintenance of equipped fire hose stations, fire extinguishers, and signage, conducting periodic inspections and verifying that all components are in proper working condition and compliant with current regulations. 2. Performing repairs and corrective maintenance on existing equipped fire hose stations, fire extinguishers, and signage, diagnosing and resolving issues to maintain the functionality of fire protection systems. 3. Preparing detailed reports documenting all inspections, tests, and maintenance performed on equipped fire hose stations, fire extinguishers, and signage. 4. Sales of fire safety equipment: Providing advice to customers on purchasing additional fire safety equipment and managing sales according to specific needs and applicable regulations. 5. Advising clients on deficiencies and managing invoice collections: Advising customers on shortcomings in their fire suppression systems and proposing appropriate solutions, as well as improvements to equipped fire hose stations, fire extinguishers, and signage. 6. Comply with internal regulations. 7. Efficiently report completed work. 8. Comply with and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations according to QEHS procedures. 9. Adherence to the quality standards required by the group in all procedures. 10. Any other functions required by the needs of the position/department may be carried out without implying a change in professional category. Requirements: * Minimum desirable experience of 1 year, which may be substituted by initial training in fire extinguisher and equipped fire hose station maintenance. * Technical knowledge of types of fire extinguishers and their operation. * Familiarity with regulations and standards related to fire extinguishers. * Skills in preventive and corrective maintenance of fire extinguishers. * Ability to diagnose and solve problems. * Awareness of workplace safety practices. * Communication and customer service skills. * Need to stay updated with industry advancements. * Basic knowledge of first aid and firefighting. * Strong technical skills and ability to work independently. * Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. * Valid driver's license. * Availability to travel.
