For our business unit, the Space Observation and Remote Sensing Center (COTESA), we are seeking a colleague to execute GIS (Geographic Information Systems) technology projects. Who Are We? Our business unit, the Space Observation and Remote Sensing Center (COTESA), is a leader in applying advanced technologies for Earth observation and developing innovative solutions in areas such as Smart Cities, Smart Mobility, and urban planning. It leverages remote sensing, artificial intelligence, and big data to capture and analyze geospatial data, developing web and mobile applications that optimize resource management, improve urban planning, and enable precise market studies. Responsibilities: * Defining and assigning project team tasks * Maintaining the product backlog * Planning work activities * Analyzing requirements * Monitoring and verifying deliverables * Preparing project documentation * Analyzing tender specifications; preparing and drafting public-sector bids and proposals * Communicating with clients, preparing presentations, and executing demonstrators REQUIREMENTS TO SUCCEED IN THIS POSITION: Education: * Technical Engineering degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications * Higher Engineering or Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science or related fields * SCRUM Manager and/or PMP certification will be valued * Additional studies or certifications in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) will be valued Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in the responsibilities described above. IT and Programming Languages: * Project manager with experience developing web portals and/or apps; experience with SCRUM; knowledge of usability, accessibility, SEO, web design, CMS platforms (e.g., Drupal, WordPress); experience in the public sector… * Knowledge and experience with Big Data architectures and solutions * Knowledge and experience with CMS platforms and app development * Knowledge of software development architectures and technologies * Knowledge and experience using project management tools * Knowledge and experience using analysis and design tools Language: * English: Fluency in spoken and written English (not mandatory but considered a positive asset) Do you have something extra?
