The HSE Unit of e\-distribución’s territorial operational area reports directly to local management and functionally to the cross\-functional/country HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) Grids Iberia unit (Endesa Group’s distribution business in Spain), which is responsible for defining, promoting and implementing, in a coordinated manner across the entire Spanish territory, activities and projects contributing to the evolution toward a corporate culture of Zero Environmental Incidents, and ensuring that the distribution company (its processes, facilities, contractors, etc.) carries out its operations minimizing possible impacts on the Environment, following a path of continuous improvement and seeking innovative solutions. This is the Unit responsible for coordinating and monitoring compliance with continuously evolving legal requirements and operational requirements reflected in the Environmental Management System (annually certified per ISO 14001) and those related to the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (currently certified per ISO 45001); it develops and tailors to Iberia various policies and requirements from the Group Enel’s Environmental and Sustainability Strategy, as well as from the Group Enel’s Health and Safety Strategy; and it centralizes information and data enabling systematic and objective evaluation of the company’s environmental performance, based on collection of inputs from all business processes deployed across all geographic areas where the company operates and maintains infrastructure (multiple Autonomous Communities on the Iberian Peninsula \+ Balearic Islands \+ Canary Islands \+ Ceuta, currently). Within periodic reporting processes, this Unit is responsible for reporting to Enel Grids Environment and Health & Safety regarding relevant environmental topics, data and KPIs, and for providing such indicators in Endesa’s reporting processes, applying the CSRD Directive with stringent traceability and external certification requirements. As a technical expert unit in environmental matters and occupational health and safety, it advises, provides technical support and evaluates risks associated with activities carried out by operational and cross\-functional units, and manages environmental and occupational health and safety aspects related to supplier qualification. * Activities are conducted in coordination with other Grids Iberia Units (corporate and operational) and with HSE Units within those domains. Additionally, activities are coordinated with other Endesa Group areas incorporating environmental content (Procurement, Planning and Control, Legal, Regulation, Sustainability, etc.). **What will you be responsible for?** In this position, your main responsibilities will be as follows: Prepare documentation to respond to official environmental requirements and procedures addressed to the Administrations of Autonomous Communities and Provinces where the territorial area’s infrastructure is located (e.g., Annual Waste Declaration / PCB, responses to notifications regarding avifauna, etc.). Design tools to support data\-driven analysis and tracking of environmental KPIs. Prepare periodic reporting (internal/external) related to processes and indicators linked to the territorial area’s environmental management (e.g., waste management, environmental inspections, inventory of electrical grid equipment and components, environmental complaints, environmental events/incidents, etc.), ensuring traceability and quality required under CSRD regulations for integration into enterprise\-level global reporting. Collaborate with contractor companies to ensure compliance with environmental legislation and improve their environmental performance. Conduct fieldwork and facility/warehouse inspections (e\-distribución’s own and contractors’) to identify potential environmental deficiencies. Participate in audits of the territorial area’s environmental processes (ISO 14001 certification, Extra Checking On Site, Endesa internal audit, etc.). Collaborate in defining and ensuring effective implementation of Corrective Action Plans to address identified deficiencies. Specify, apply and implement Grids Iberia’s HSE \- Environment initiatives within the territory, monitoring achievement of annual environmental objectives. Coordinate implementation of HSE programs on the ground, liaising with operational areas. Define and implement specialized technical and operational training on Environmental topics within the scope of responsibility, providing relevant information. We will share further details during the interview. **What is required?** Essential requirements to perform this role are: * **Education:** Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering * **Knowledge:** MS Office Basics (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, Communications tools (Teams). Discipline\-specific knowledge corresponding to the required degree. Knowledge of electricity, e\-Distribución Digital Networks procedures and systems. * **Languages:** Intermediate English * **Professional Experience:** Prior experience and familiarity with e\-Distribución Digital Networks procedures and systems, as well as experience interacting with personnel from other companies, public bodies and customers. * **Competencies:** Change management, resolution of complex problems, communication, customer orientation, results orientation and collaboration. * **Others:** Valid driver’s license The following will be **valued**: * **Education:** Postgraduate/Master’s in Industrial Technologies, Energy Efficiency or similar. * **Knowledge:** Database analysis tools and/or programming languages (Matlab, Python, C, R, VBA,…). Knowledge of management systems (ERP\-SAP at user level). Advanced MS Office (Access, Project).
