




At the Mercer Hotel Madrid 5*GL, we require Kitchen Assistant staff to cover operations for **La Sociedad Gastronómica de Eneko Atxa**, a new gastronomic restaurant in Madrid, providing operational support to the culinary team in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes, ensuring compliance with quality standards, gastronomic identity, and excellence inherent to the Eneko Atxa universe. This role is key to ensuring smooth, precise service aligned with the restaurant’s philosophy: respect for ingredients, technical skill, culinary sensitivity, and high-level gastronomic experience. **Main Responsibilities** Support daily mise en place following the restaurant’s standards and recipes. * Assist in the preparation and plating of gastronomic dishes under the supervision of the kitchen team. * Maintain order, cleanliness, and organization in one’s station and shared areas. * Strictly comply with hygiene, food safety, and HACCP regulations. * Collaborate in receiving, storing, rotating, and quality-checking products. * Support maintenance of kitchen utensils, equipment, and workspaces. * Follow procedures and guidelines established by the Chef and Gastronomic Management. * Contribute to a work environment based on respect, teamwork, and continuous improvement. **Profile Requirements** Culinary or gastronomy training (valuable). * Prior experience in gastronomic or high-end restaurants (valuable). * Ability to work under pressure in demanding environments. * Proactive, responsible attitude with attention to detail. * Commitment to quality, cleanliness, and culinary excellence. **Key Competencies** Teamwork * Organization and discipline * Speed and precision * Continuous learning * Passion for high-end gastronomy Position type: Full-time, Permanent contract Salary: 21,495.00€ per year Work location: On-site employment
