Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional for the Quality department at our Zaragoza plant, to engage in R&D&I and continuous improvement for an innovative and sustainable project.
Key Highlights:
1. Support in product development and coordination of plant-based testing.
2. Process analysis and diagnosis for optimization.
3. Application of Lean tools and resolution of complex problems.
We are building a gypsum board manufacturing plant in Zaragoza; **Gypzero**, an innovative and sustainable project driving the industry toward the NetZero model.
You will join the Quality Department.
**What will be your responsibilities?**
R\+D\+I Department
* Product development support: Collaborate during concept, laboratory testing, and technical specification definition phases for new products or materials.
* Plant-based testing coordination: Participate in production trials for new product launches, coordinating with the operations team.
* Trend analysis: Conduct market, competitor, and emerging technology/material research and analysis to identify development opportunities.
* Documentation and Quality: Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental policies during new process development, maintaining up-to-date technical records.
Continuous Improvement Department
* Process analysis and diagnosis: Analyze plant workflow and production data to identify losses, bottlenecks, and optimization opportunities.
* Application of Lean tools: Provide technical support and execute improvement projects using tools such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Statistical Process Control (SPC), 5S, etc.
* Root cause analysis: Lead resolution of complex on-site problems when new products or processes deviate from quality or productivity targets.
* Lean culture: Promote participation of plant personnel (operators and supervisors) in improvement methodologies and in operating newly implemented technologies.
* Standardization: Support the definition, drafting, and updating of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) derived from implemented improvements or newly industrialized products.
Minimum Education: University degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
Required Experience: 2 years of experience in similar roles supporting processes, R\+D laboratories, or managing continuous improvement within an industrial environment.
Solid Technical Knowledge:
Good laboratory practices, advanced proficiency in Office tools and Power BI, and operational knowledge of industrial management software such as SAP, SPC tools, and RCA application tools.
