As a family-owned company founded in 1892 and headquartered in Vienna, Kapsch can look back on 130 years of experience with the future. **Main responsibilities:** * Make operational decisions regarding incidents or events affecting traffic flow during your shift. * Monitor in real time the traffic conditions and associated elements (traffic lights, sensors, cameras, etc.) in the city. * Perform traffic engineering tasks aimed at regulating and optimizing the traffic signal network. * Develop traffic plans and conduct simulations using specialized tools such as Aimsun, Vissim, Transyt and similar. * Prepare detailed technical reports on actions taken, detected incidents, and measures implemented. **Requirements:** * University degree in computer engineering, telecommunications, industrial engineering or related field. * Basic knowledge in the IT field. * Intermediate level in Excel. * **Availability to work rotating shifts 24/7** (morning, afternoon, night, and weekends). * Strong teamwork skills, good communication abilities, and customer orientation. **Desirable qualifications:** * Knowledge in data processing and analysis using tools such as PowerBI or Python. * Experience with traffic simulation software or traffic signal plan generation tools such as: Aimsun, Vissim, Transyt, SUMO. * Intermediate level of English. **Our offer:** * Permanent contract. * 100% on-site working model. * Flexible compensation plan. * An interesting full-time position within a globally renowned family-owned company. * Challenge the limits of mobility for a healthy world without congestion. * Space to create innovative solutions and ideas for our rapidly growing markets.
