Description

Summary: Decos is looking for proactive, solution-oriented technical specialists in Spain and Portugal who are driven to optimally support and further develop our customers. Highlights: 1. Development and freedom in the role 2. Working for an innovative organization 3. Focus on positive impact through technology Although we currently have no open positions, we remain curious and would be delighted to connect with technical specialists in Spain and Portugal. **WHO ARE WE?** Decos contributes to a world where we harness the power of technology to create a positive impact. Every day, we seek new, innovative solutions that help our customers make their world a better place. Through these digital innovations, we make a difference and have a positive global impact. Decos comprises several entities and locations, each with its own specialization. We view curiosity as the driving force behind innovation — something that truly propels us forward. At Decos, we do not stop until we have realized the best solution; we believe persistence pays off. To achieve this, we grant you freedom and responsibility: we offer you opportunities, provide space for development, and support your progression — we are enablers. Our curiosity has led us to search for talent beyond the borders of the Netherlands. We therefore gladly offer Dutch nationals residing in Spain the opportunity to work remotely for us. This works for us because we believe in freedom and responsibility. As long as we collaborate toward the same goals, you have the freedom to decide where and how you contribute. This means Dutch nationals living in Spain also have the opportunity to work remotely for us. **A DAY IN THE (HOME) OFFICE** As a Customer Support Consultant, your day begins by checking Freshdesk. You review incoming tickets and schedule those for the following day. In this way, you know exactly what you will be working on and which customers you will speak with. Additionally, you gather tickets containing issues you are currently encountering. At 10 a.m., you join your daily one-hour meeting with Developers and Technical Consultants — you want to leverage their expertise as effectively as possible so that you can ultimately deliver excellent support to the customer. After this call, you immediately begin working with the new information you have gained, expecting that you can now resolve the ticket. After lunch, you have a 1 p.m. appointment with a customer to examine the issue. You observe the user’s environment together to determine how to resolve the problem. Prior to this meeting, you attempt to reproduce the issue and consult with a Technical Consultant if needed, ensuring you enter the customer meeting fully prepared. Following this appointment, you have a 1:1 session with your Product Owner, reviewing your goals and assessing your progress. You also discuss your desired direction: do you wish to further develop technically, or focus more on the functional side? Later in the afternoon, you have another appointment with a different customer. During this meeting, you will update the customer’s environment. The end of the day arrives, and you already begin looking ahead to tomorrow. Tomorrow morning, you are scheduled for the biweekly phone duty; you prepare for calls you may receive from experienced application administrators. You ensure your schedule isn’t overloaded, as you must remain available for application administrators experiencing issues with our software — these issues must be resolved as quickly as possible! **SKILLS \& REQUIREMENTS** * A completed HBO/WO degree; * You already have some experience in an IT role and are ready for your next step; * Excellent communication skills to support our customers as effectively as possible; * Rapidly switching between tasks is no problem for you; * Strong command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written; * Strong command of the English language; * Resident in Spain and in possession of an NIE number. **WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?** We offer you the opportunity to work remotely from Spain for a Dutch organization, where you will have ample room to grow. To support this, we allocate an annual training budget and provide guidance to help you achieve your personal and professional goals. Of course, a laptop is provided, and we jointly assess how to set up a responsible and comfortable home workspace. We also offer a bonus scheme. **WHEN: NOW!** Although we currently have no open positions, we are still curious about you and potential future opportunities. Are you the driven, solution-oriented candidate who challenges themselves to support customers as effectively as possible? Do you wish to work for a Dutch organization? Then apply via the button above and tell us why you would be a valuable addition to Decos. Do you have questions about the vacancy described above? Contact **Sylvia** de Jezus at \+34 699 34 74 18\. *Our customers are government and semi-government bodies; therefore, it is important that, in this role, you consider security and privacy.* *We manage the entire recruitment process internally.* Type of employment: Fulltime Work location: Remote
