Currently, as a personnel recruitment consultancy, we are seeking a **Commercial Technician** for our client’s national procurement team, whose primary area of responsibility will be the **northeast of Spain** (Catalonia, Aragon). **RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS** Plan, organize, and execute procurement activities within the designated region to ensure the company’s normal operational development, involving regular travel and mobility, and reporting to the Commercial Manager and Company Management. * Acquisition of waste materials, primarily from the automotive sector. * Identification of new suppliers and retention of existing ones. * Market prospecting and identification of new business opportunities. * Purchase negotiation and closure, in accordance with volumes and prices stipulated by the Commercial Management. * Reporting on information gathered during supplier visits and related activities. **REQUIREMENTS** * High school diploma (Vocational Training in Commerce or equivalent is desirable). * Valid driver’s license. * Residence within the designated region and willingness to travel regularly throughout it. * Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar roles; prior experience in waste management sector is highly valued. * Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite. * Knowledge of hazardous materials management and procurement is desirable. **What does the company offer?** * Negotiable remuneration based on experience, ranging between €28,000–€35,000 gross per annum. * Company vehicle * Company credit card for work-related expenses.
