The main responsibilities involve moving and placing goods using counterbalanced and reach trucks, both for truck loading and unloading and for organizing products in their correct locations. Careful handling of materials is essential to ensure accurate inventory control and facilitate subsequent order picking. Another key aspect of the role is maintaining warehouse order and cleanliness, ensuring all items remain accessible and properly categorized. This helps expedite item picking and shipping processes, improving overall efficiency. Safety regulations must also be strictly followed to prevent accidents during box lifting or forklift operation, and the workplace must be kept in good condition. Work is performed collaboratively in a team environment; therefore, cooperation with colleagues is essential to meet schedules and delivery deadlines. During peak periods, workload may increase significantly, requiring composure and organization. Flexibility to work various shifts, as required by the logistics center, is mandatory.
