Job Summary: We are seeking a geriatric care worker to assist residents in a senior residence, performing personal care and mobility assistance tasks. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assistance with personal care tasks such as hygiene and feeding of residents 2. Mobility assistance for residents using a hoist 3. Vital support work in a senior residence We need a person to work as a geriatric care worker in a senior residence located in Zaragoza (postal code 50.012). To be eligible for this position, candidates must hold one of the following qualifications: Technical Certificate in Nursing Assistant Care, Technical Certificate in Care for Dependent Persons, Higher Technical Certificate in Social Integration, Professional Certification in Socio-Healthcare for Dependent Persons in Social Institutions, or the IASS Geriatric Care Worker Authorization Certificate. Additionally, a minimum of one month’s experience in a similar role is required. Typical duties include assisting residents with getting up and going to bed, helping with washing and showering, feeding residents, changing diapers, and performing mobility assistance using a hoist, among other responsibilities inherent to the role of a geriatric care worker. A full-time temporary contract is offered, Monday through Sunday, during morning shifts (7:30–15:00), with breaks scheduled according to the duty roster.
