Serve as an internal consultant for talent development TECHNICIAN FOR DEVELOPMENT — Organization and Development Service Mission: Promote the professional and competency growth of university staff (PTGAS) through the strategic design, analysis, innovation, and evaluation of talent development programs, in accordance with the section head’s directives and the institutional system for competence management and evaluation, with the aim of delivering high-quality professional development services to PTGAS. Essential Requirements - University undergraduate or bachelor’s degree in Education Sciences. - Catalan language proficiency certificate equivalent to level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). - Spanish language proficiency certificate equivalent to level C2 of the CEFR or equivalent (only required for non-Spanish nationals). Desirable Knowledge and Experience - University master’s or postgraduate degree in human resource management within organizations. - Professional experience in human resources management, preferably in development and/or within public administrations. - Knowledge of the university’s legal framework: national, regional, and university-specific regulations, as well as civil service regulations, related processes, and applicable legislation. - English language proficiency corresponding to level B2.2 (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, CEFR) or higher. - Professional competencies: critical thinking, communication and relationship skills, intrapreneurship, cognitive flexibility, collaboration and participation, self-awareness and emotional management, as well as ethics, integrity, and commitment to public service and UPF. Conditions Legal Status: PTGAS Civil Servant (A2-22.2) Employment Type: Temporary assignment or interim appointment Gross Annual Remuneration: €38,850.99 (gross monthly salary of €2,821.45) Departmental Assignment: Development Section of the Organization and Development Service Start Date: March 2026 Expected Duration: Until the position is permanently filled (initial 4-month probationary period) Workload: Full-time, 35 hours/week Working Hours: 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Mon–Fri), plus one afternoon per week (Mon–Thu) from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., with flexible scheduling between 7:45 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. and between 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Location: UPF Rectorate (Mercè Building) - Analyze and develop new training needs, as well as new training, development, and innovation programs, and those requiring ongoing review or updating. - Identify staff (PTGAS) needs using advanced analysis methods and tools to detect gaps and improvement opportunities requiring targeted interventions. - Promote continuous improvement in professional development processes by analyzing data and implementing new technologies to increase efficiency. - Serve as an internal consultant for talent development, supporting managers and colleagues in defining and implementing professional growth strategies. - Evaluate the effectiveness of development programs by monitoring key indicators and preparing reports to support strategic decision-making. - Carry out unit projects and assigned technical procedures, including needs analysis, design, planning and dissemination of training activities, and results follow-up. - Create and technically collaborate in the design of training content and programs. - Other duties assigned within the scope of technical competencies. * Experience: 2 months.
