On this occasion, we are seeking a candidate for the position of "Project Technician" at our Zaragoza plant. Under the supervision of the Project Manager, your main responsibility will be launching and overseeing automation-related projects at the plant, ensuring their proper execution while complying with occupational health and safety regulations and food safety standards. Main responsibilities: * Project development within work teams: * Design and/or modification of production lines. * Design and/or modification of layouts and line balancing. * Design of auxiliary tools and equipment to support production processes. * Testing new equipment to solve problems or improve existing technology. * Sourcing and coordination of suppliers involved in the project. * Preparation of installations and coordination of industrial trials. * Supervision of project execution, ensuring deadlines, costs, and quality. * Leading cross-departmental improvement workshops for specific technical issues: * Coordination of the work team. * Implementation of indicators to detect root causes of errors. * Analyze and propose technical solutions. * Prepare reports on achieved results. * Anticipate future needs and explore new technologies: * Monitoring technological developments in similar companies. * Visits to related companies and/or suppliers. Requirements • Education: Higher Degree in Automation, Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, or equivalent. * Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a similar role (preferably in the food industry): * Experience in industrial line design, process automation, and improvement of existing systems. * Proven project management experience, including planning, contractor follow-up, coordination between contractors, managing quotes and orders, budget control, interdepartmental meetings, etc. * PLC programming: Step 7 and Tia Portal. * Languages: Advanced level of English. Other languages are an advantage. * Proficient user of office software (Office suite, advanced Excel), Project, Autocad 2D (3D is a plus), Tia Portal and Step 7. Solidworks or Inventor knowledge is valued. * Customer-oriented individual, committed to continuous improvement, analytical thinking, problem-solving, flexible, with strong communication skills and ability to work in interdisciplinary teams. * Willingness to travel occasionally.
