The ideal candidate will be responsible for machining high-precision metal parts for the aerospace sector, ensuring each component meets the strict tolerances and quality standards required by EASA regulations. **Main Responsibilities** Machine setup and operation: Perform setup, adjustment, and operation of numerical control (CNC) lathes for machining metal parts. Part manufacturing: Carry out turning, drilling, threading, and reaming tasks, strictly following manufacturing drawings and production orders. Programming and adjustment: Program, adjust parameters, and verify machining programs on CNC lathes to optimize production processes. Quality control: Use high-precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to verify that manufactured parts meet dimensional tolerances and specifications. Candidate Requirements **Skills and Competencies:** * Machine expertise: Solid experience operating CNC lathes and/or grinders and/or milling machines. * Blueprint reading: Advanced ability to read and interpret manufacturing blueprints, including geometric tolerances. * Material knowledge: Understanding of properties of metals used in the aerospace industry (steel, aluminum, titanium...). * Attention to detail and precision: Ability to work with extreme accuracy and maintain the highest quality standards. **Education and Experience:** Required education: Higher Vocational Training in Machining or equivalent. Years of experience: Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a machinist, preferably in automotive, aerospace, or high-precision industries.
