**Description:** ---------------- At Grupo NS, we are looking for a **Junior Network and Infrastructure Engineer** with a technical profile, autonomy, and a practical work orientation, to provide operational network and infrastructure support in the industrial sector. **100% on-site mode.** The position focuses on **on-site support** at the plant, covering **technologies such as switching, wireless networks, structured cabling, servers, storage, and data center operations.** The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring reliable, standardized IT services aligned with the needs of the production environment and plant offices. **Main Responsibilities** * Provide **support for daily operations** of local network and infrastructure components. * **Install, configure, and maintain network switches**, wireless access points, and cabling. * Ensure accurate **documentation** and labeling of plant infrastructure. * Perform basic **diagnostic and incident resolution tasks** on physical and virtual servers. * Provide **practical support for storage systems** and backup equipment. * Collaborate on physical equipment relocation, cabling improvements, and hardware replacement. * Coordinate with central teams for managing escalated incidents and project deployments. **Requirements:** --------------- **Requirements** * **1–2 years of experience** in **IT infrastructure or network operations.** * Solid **knowledge of switching (VLANs, trunking, basic routing).** * **Experience** with **enterprise-grade wireless solutions.** * Familiarity with **server and storage environments.** * Good knowledge of **structured cabling and physical rack and patch panel management.** * Ability to **work autonomously** in an **industrial environment.** * Proactive, practical, and problem-solving attitude. * **High level of English.** **Preferred Qualifications** * Prior **experience in industrial or manufacturing environments.** * Knowledge of vendors such as **Cisco, HPE**, or similar. * Understanding of **best practices** in data center design and operations. * Experience with **ticketing and ITSM management tools** (e.g., ServiceNow).
