So, are you ready to apply? **YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSABILITIES:** **JOB PURPOSE:** The Financial Risk Analyst is contributing to the maintenance, development and validation of the market risk model for the AXA group and for the operating entities. **DIMENSION:*** Total Market \& Credit risk Solvency Capital Requirement amounts to about 20 bn EUR. * 28 operating entities involved in the risk calculation process. * More than 100 people involved in Market and Credit risk calculation across AXA Group **CONTEXT AND MAJOR CHALLENGES:** AXA Group has chosen to develop its own internal model to ensure the computation of its solvency in the Solvency II framework. Market and credit risks are two of the main risks assessed within the internal model. For AXA Group Risk Management, we are looking for a committed individual with a strong IT affinity and financial modelling knowledge who enjoys working in an international environment. **KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:*** Contribute to the quarterly quantification of the market risks across the AXA group, as part of the internal model for Solvency II. * Contribute to the further development of the internal market risk model (e.g. modelling of new assets). * Maintain the technical infrastructure, in particular the SQL, Java and Python applications and the related documentation. **YOUR PROFILE:****MAIN COMPETENCIES AND EXPERIENCES:** **Hard skills:*** Strong programming skills (Java and Python) and good Linux knowledge are required * Completed university studies in natural sciences, mathematics, physics or quantitative subjects * Strong financial and actuarial risks modelling abilities * Professional experience in the financial field and knowledge of financial models are an advantage **Soft skills:*** Ability to work in a multi\-cultural environment * Strong interpersonal and communication skills (writing / speaking) * Fluent in English is required * Ability to take initiative and communicate effectively with management From 2 to 5 years of experience in financial risk modelling
