This role ensures the continuous and quality output of components while adhering to safety and operational standards. Job Responsibilities * Operate, monitor, and adjust high\-speed shell presses and associated auxiliary equipment to produce metal container ends according to specifications. * Perform routine preventative maintenance, including cleaning, lubrication, and inspection of press components. * Diagnose and resolve basic mechanical and operational issues, perform minor repairs, and assist maintenance technicians with more complex breakdowns. * Conduct quality checks on finished products, including dimensional measurements and visual inspections, to ensure compliance with quality standards. * Load and unload raw materials (coil stock) and finished goods, utilizing appropriate material handling equipment. * Maintain accurate production records, downtime logs, and maintenance reports. * Adhere to all safety protocols, including LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), machine guarding, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. * Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and maintenance personnel to optimize production and minimize downtime. * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety within the production area. * Keep the work area clean and organized, following 5S principles. Job Qualifications \* \*\*Education:\*\* High school diploma or equivalent required. Vocational training or a technical degree in mechanical maintenance, industrial mechanics, or a related field is highly desirable. \* \*\*Experience:\*\* Minimum of 2\-3 years of experience operating and performing basic maintenance on high\-speed industrial machinery, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience with metal forming presses, stamping operations, or can\-making machinery is a significant advantage. \* \*\*Technical Skills:\*\* * Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. * Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics. * Familiarity with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges). * Basic understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems. * Proficiency in performing preventative maintenance tasks. \* \*\*Physical Requirements:\*\* Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 kg, climb, bend, and stoop as required by the job.
