Job Description **Publication start date:** 3/11/25 **Offer ID:** 1418 **Unit:** Limagrain Field Seeds Europe **Job title:** AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN **Location:** Elorz **Contract type:** Permanent **Job description:** **Function** Limagrain Field Seeds Ibérica, an established company belonging to the international Limagrain Group—leader in field crops—and focused on research, production, and marketing of seeds, seeks to hire a person for the position of **AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN** at its Elorz facility. **Main objective** Reporting to the Agricultural Production Manager, the **main objective** is to develop the portfolio of multiplier farmers in the northern region to ensure quantitative and qualitative supply of raw materials, thereby enabling the commercialization of high-quality maize and oilseed seeds in Spain and Europe. **Key responsibilities** * Support planning of the agricultural production plan. * Sow sunflower and maize crops, expanding the network of multiplier farmers. * Monitor crop development and provide advisory support regarding necessary measures. * Manage crop purification tasks and supervise field crews. * Harvest according to traceability and safety protocols. * Organize harvest logistics. * Coordinate official crop inspection visits by regulatory authorities. * Prepare status reports and harvest forecasts. * Assess parental line performance in multiplication fields and trials. * Contribute to improving and innovating production methods. * Analyze campaign results: quality, quantity, timelines, and costs. * Ensure compliance with safety regulations across all stages of the agricultural process. **What we expect from you** * Intermediate or higher university degree, preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy. * Intermediate level of English, both spoken and written. * Advanced user-level computer skills. * Between 1 and 3 years’ experience in a similar role or in managing extensive field crops. * Flexibility and mobility, including willingness to travel and adapt to field requirements. * Technical and analytical ability, with focus on agronomic analysis, precise observation, and attention to detail. * Interpersonal and communication skills facilitating negotiation, teamwork, and relationships with farmers and collaborators. * Organizational and leadership skills, including initiative, effective planning, decision-making ability, and team supervision. **Competencies** Adaptability/Flexibility Problem Solving/Analysis Collaboration Communication Results Orientation Organizational Ability Initiative Strategic Thinking/Management Productivity Accountability Sense of Urgency Decision Making/Judgment Teamwork**What we offer** Permanent contract and professional growth opportunities, with competitive compensation and social benefits: flexible working hours, meal allowance, health insurance, pension plan, company vehicle, etc. Professional development and career progression within a stable company offering a positive work environment.
