The traditional biscuits Marielu and Yayitas are also produced at the plant for all of Spain. **Purpose of the Position** As a continuous improvement trainee, you will participate in various efficiency and waste reduction improvement projects on the assigned production line using TPM methodology. You will gain first-hand experience in core pillar processes such as progressive maintenance, autonomous maintenance and focused improvement. **Main Responsibilities:** * Observe, analyze and challenge the practices and processes used in the plant. * Monitor KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), identify root causes of deviations and propose corrective actions. * Train and support plant personnel so they understand and implement TPM methodology tools. * Participate in the Idea Selection process for Improvement (Kaizen) and support implementation of these initiatives. **Requirements:** * University degree or higher vocational training (Agricultural Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Food Science and Technology) * Fluent Spanish and fluent English required * Good knowledge of Microsoft Office **Leadership Skills / Competencies** * Communication skills, ability to interact easily with plant staff * Teamwork capability * Observation, analysis and listening skills **What You Should Know About This Position:** 12-month internship contract **What Additional Ingredients Will You Bring?** * Process improvement: Evaluate processes and interpret data to develop actions that eliminate losses and improve line performance. * Participate in the development and launch of new products and projects. * Be part of cultural change, working together with other departments to support the core team in achieving operational excellence with a mindset of zero losses and zero accidents. **Education/Certifications:** Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in any branch of Engineering.
