We also offer solutions with the application of vacuum and high\-vacuum technologies for traditional and high\-tech industries in the energy and aerospace sectors, as well as scientific experimentation.** **Apply now and become part of our team!** **Job Description** We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer for our Terrassa (BCN) offices, with at least 2 years’ experience in designing specialized machinery for the pharmaceutical sector (ideally filling machinery) or packaging sector, to design and develop such specialized machinery in 3D, as well as prepare associated technical documentation. **Main Responsibilities:** * Development of mechanical solutions, creation of models and drawings, development of prototypes, optimization of existing assemblies, and preparation and updating of functional specifications, flow diagrams, and pneumatic schematics. * Technical calculations and sizing: e.g., strength, service life, and tolerance calculations; as well as use of simulation tools and, where applicable, FEM analysis for design validation. * Documentation of modifications and maintenance of data in ERP/PLM systems: creation and updating of Bills of Materials (BOM) in SAP, as well as initiation of catalog part requests (workflow). * Conducting risk assessments, drafting functional specifications, leading Design Qualification workshops, and participating in systematic design reviews. * Planning, coordination, and supervision of prototypes, tests, and trials; evaluation of results and derivation of design modifications. * Technical support for assembly, pre-assembly, service, and procurement; rapid implementation of design modifications in case of claims, with a high level of responsiveness and proactivity. * Compliance with and application of relevant standards and guidelines (machine safety, pharmaceutical requirements), as well as participation in standardization and continuous improvement of design standards. * Coordination with clients and suppliers: technical contact with clients, support during acceptance/testing, and coordination with external suppliers for data management and manufacturing. **Requirements** * University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Precision Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification; academic certificate required. * Experience in building specialized machinery, ideally pharmaceutical filling lines or comparable pharmaceutical equipment. * Extensive hands-on experience with 3D CAD (preferably SolidWorks/DBWorks) + demonstrable portfolio of CAD models/drawings. * Experience with SAP (master data, BOMs, classification, etc.) and databases. * Familiarity with design workflows, Design Reviews, functional specifications, risk assessments, process flow diagrams, and pneumatic schematics. * Practical experience in prototyping/testing, assembly support, and client acceptance. * Interdisciplinary mindset (mechanics, electrical engineering, automation, and process technology), with a focus on overall customer-oriented functionality. **Additional Information** Willingness to travel internationally (10\-20%).
