In Lugo, we are looking for a Warehouse Assistant for a parcel logistics center. Tasks include receiving, preparing, and distributing goods, managing the parcel flow from arrival through to loading for transportation. It is essential to ensure each shipment reaches its correct destination within a dynamic environment demanding attention to detail and teamwork. Work takes place in a spacious and well-organized warehouse, following protocols to maintain quality and punctuality. Inventory management systems and barcode scanners are used; basic familiarity with these tools facilitates performance. Organization and methodology are fundamental to safely handle high parcel volumes. Shift work is required to meet the operational needs of the center. Upon joining, specialized training on internal processes is provided—from goods receipt through to dispatch. Prior experience in the parcel delivery, logistics, or similar warehouse environments is required. Core responsibilities include pre-sorting parcels by destination and performing quality control on received shipments. Subsequently, parcels must be sorted in detail according to assigned routes and destinations, followed by stretch-wrapping for protection. Another critical task is scanning all shipments using electronic devices to update the tracking system. Finally, sorted and prepared parcels must be loaded onto appropriate transport vehicles—such as vans or trucks—ensuring orderly and secure loading.
