Home Care Assistant

Description

In Gijón (Asturias), a person is sought to provide home support services. Main tasks include assisting with personal grooming and hygiene, performing basic household cleaning duties, and helping the individual get up, go to bed, and move around inside the home. Accompaniment to medical appointments and reminding the individual to take medication prescribed by physicians are also required. Previous experience and specific training are required, such as a Nursing Auxiliary Technician (TCAE) qualification, a Technician in Care for Dependent Persons qualification, or Professional Certificates in home- or institution-based socio-healthcare. This is a temporary contract with a part-time schedule of sixteen hours per week, to be worked on weekends. Employment conditions are governed by the Collective Agreement for the Home Assistance Services and Related Sectors in the Principality of Asturias.
