Key responsibilities include interpreting technical drawings and custom designs to create unique pieces such as tables, cabinets, and display cases. Traditional and precision assembly techniques are employed—such as gluing, doweling, and dovetail joints—to ensure structural strength and durability of each creation. Subsequently, high-quality finishing processes are carried out through meticulous fine sanding, varnishing, lacquering, and waxing, endowing the wood with exceptional appearance and tactile qualities. Advanced decorative techniques—including marquetry, intarsia, hand carving, and inlays—are also applied, adding artistic value and distinctive character to the pieces. Quality control is an integral part of the process, monitoring at every stage that measurements are exact, symmetry is perfect, and finishes are flawless. This ensures that each final product meets the highest standards of aesthetics, functionality, and resilience. This role demands a high level of commitment to artisanal excellence and end-customer satisfaction. A compulsory secondary education diploma (ESO) or a medium-level vocational training qualification in related fields is required.
