Description
The Warehouse Assistant position focuses on providing comprehensive support to the daily logistics operations of a facility dedicated to the agroindustrial sector. Key responsibilities include the meticulous receipt and verification of all incoming goods from suppliers, involving the checking of delivery notes and inspection of the condition of agricultural spare parts to ensure compliance. Subsequently, order preparation is carried out—a task requiring rapid and accurate location of specific components within the warehouse, followed by secure packaging and correct labeling to guarantee shipments depart within the stipulated 24–48 hour timeframe. This process is essential to maintaining an operational and efficient supply chain, fulfilling delivery commitments to customers and business partners. Additionally, the role encompasses loading and unloading of goods using equipment such as pallet trucks and forklifts, and proper pallet preparation for shipment via correct stacking and strapping. Organization of warehouse storage space is another key responsibility, ensuring all parts and spare parts are logically and accessibly located to optimize working time and facilitate immediate retrieval when needed. This directly contributes to overall operational efficiency and reduction of downtime. Proactive handling of minor incidents during receipt or order preparation also forms part of daily activities, enabling autonomous resolution of setbacks to prevent delays. Finally, maintaining order and cleanliness across all warehouse areas is essential, fully complying at all times with current Spanish occupational health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
This position offers a full-time and regular work schedule, with fixed working hours from 9:00 to 18:00, Monday through Friday, providing excellent work-life balance. There is a genuine opportunity for direct incorporation into the company’s permanent workforce, subject to demonstrated performance and the candidate’s level of commitment during the initial period. The working environment features integration into a close-knit and collaborative team, fostering a workplace culture built on mutual trust and respect. The company presents itself as a solid and growing organization within the agroindustrial sector, offering a stable project where professionals can consolidate their long-term career trajectory. General employment conditions comply fully with current Spanish labor legislation.
Applicants must hold and maintain a valid Spanish Class B driving license and possess their own vehicle for commuting to the workplace. A valid forklift operator certification and demonstrable experience in the safe operation of forklifts and pallet trucks are mandatory. A proactive, formal, solution-oriented, and detail-focused attitude in executing all assigned tasks is highly valued. Candidates must demonstrate proven ability to work effectively in a team, maintaining close collaboration with colleagues and contributing to a positive working environment. Physical agility and the ability to adapt to the dynamic pace of a warehouse environment—correctly handling spare parts and pallets—are required. Prior experience of at least one year in warehouse environments is considered valuable (though not exclusive), preferably in spare parts logistics, mechanical components, or the agricultural sector. The minimum academic qualification required is completion of primary education.
