The primary role is to coordinate the design and development of the *software* for this instrumentation. The selected candidate will join a *deep-tech* specialized team with international projection, dedicated to pioneering instrumentation for next-generation PON networks. **Responsibilities** * Lead the design, development, and evolution of *firmware* and *software* for next-generation analyzers. * Define the technical architecture. * Develop advanced traffic analysis, diagnostics, and interoperability features. * Coordinate with the R&D team to integrate new capabilities into the analysis engine. * Ensure the technical quality of the product and its alignment with functional requirements. **Candidate Profile** * **PhD holder (or in the final stages of dissertation)** in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, Telematics, or related fields. * Technical Competence: Ability to interpret complex specifications and design robust solutions for instrumentation systems. High level of English (spoken and written). **Especially valued:** * Knowledge of PON technologies. * Experience with C# / C++. * Experience in digital design on FPGAs. * Experience in production-level AI implementation of open-weight models (Meta Llama, DeepSeek). * Experience in *firmware* development and real-time data processing architectures. * Familiarity with telecommunications instrumentation.
