CNC Punch Operator

Description

The professional will perform duties focused on punching operations using high-precision CNC machinery. They will be responsible for preparing and adjusting tools according to the technical specifications of each part, ensuring correct configuration of parameters such as speed, pressure, and cutting depth. Responsibilities include continuous supervision of the production process to detect and correct potential deviations or defects, thereby maintaining the highest quality standards. Additionally, they will carry out basic preventive maintenance tasks on equipment, such as cleaning and lubrication, to ensure optimal operation and extend equipment service life. Reading and interpreting technical drawings and engineering documentation will be essential to perform tasks accurately. They will also be responsible for material handling, including loading and unloading metal sheets into automated systems, optimizing workflow and productivity on the production line. Candidates are expected to maintain an orderly and safe working environment, strictly adhering to industrial safety protocols and contributing to an efficient workplace. Adaptability to perform complementary assembly or support tasks in other production areas, when required, will be viewed favorably. In summary, this position demands concentration, manual dexterity, and a firm commitment to operational excellence within the industrial sector. At least three years of proven experience in CNC punching operations is required, preferably with Amada machinery. A Higher Vocational Training Certificate in a related technical field is mandatory. Candidates must demonstrate versatility to perform assembly tasks when necessary and have immediate availability to start the position. Furthermore, functional knowledge of English, equivalent to B1 level, is required.
