




Position Summary: Administer server infrastructure, virtualization, and Microsoft 365 to ensure operational continuity in a Retail environment, providing technical support to end users. Key Highlights: 1. Comprehensive administration of Windows/Linux servers and VMware environments. 2. Management of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, including Azure AD. 3. Critical role in ensuring IT operational continuity within the Retail sector. DESCRIPTION **Main Responsibilities** * Administer and maintain Windows and Linux server infrastructure (installation, configuration, hardening, monitoring, performance tuning, and updates). * Manage VMware virtualized environments (hosts, VMs, resources, snapshots, troubleshooting, and capacity planning). * Define, implement, and validate backup strategy using Veeam Backup (jobs, repositories, retention policies, restores, and periodic recovery testing). * Administer the Microsoft 365 ecosystem: * User, license, and group management. * Exchange Online administration (mailboxes, policies, delegations). * Teams and SharePoint/OneDrive management (permissions, basic governance, best practices). * Azure AD / Entra ID configuration and support (roles, MFA, basic-to-intermediate conditional access policies based on organization size). * Ensure IT operational continuity in a Retail context (prioritizing availability during critical business hours and minimizing downtime). * Manage incidents, service requests, and changes via Ticketing tools, ensuring SLA compliance, traceability, and continuous improvement. * Provide technical support to end users and branch offices using remote assistance tools, focusing on efficient resolution and documentation. * Coordinate and negotiate with technology vendors (contracts, renewals, budgets, service levels, escalations, and evaluation of alternatives). * Maintain up-to-date technical documentation (inventory, procedures, runbooks, diagrams, basic policies). * Propose security, availability, and operational efficiency improvements (monitoring, alerting, automation, standardization). * Availability to perform on-call duties during store operating hours (Saturdays and local holidays). **Requirements (Mandatory)** * IT-related education, minimum CFGS Redes (or equivalent). * Experience in the Retail sector (environments with critical operations and support for branches/stores). * Demonstrable experience administering Windows and Linux servers. * Experience with backup tools, especially Veeam Backup. * Experience with VMware virtualization. * Experience administering the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint/OneDrive, Azure AD/Entra ID). * Negotiation skills and vendor management capability. * Proficient use of remote assistance tools and Ticketing platforms. **Key Competencies** * Service orientation and commitment to business continuity. * Incident prioritization and management under pressure. * Clear communication with end users, business stakeholders, and vendors. * Proactive approach to prevention (monitoring, backups, maintenance). * Organization and methodology (documentation, procedures, traceability). **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with monitoring tools (Zabbix, PRTG, Grafana or similar). * Networking knowledge (VLANs, VPN, basic routing, firewalls). * Automation / scripting (PowerShell, Bash). * Experience in hybrid or cloud environments (Azure/AWS). * Security expertise in M365 (Defender, DLP, advanced policies, Intune/MDM).
