**Description:** ---------------- **MISSION** Ensure that solutions developed on the MIR Asturias educational platform—primarily using OutSystems—are technically robust, scalable, secure, and aligned with business needs. You will be responsible for directing, supervising, and ensuring the correct technical implementation of projects developed on the MIR Asturias educational platform, guaranteeing their quality, performance, adherence to best practices, and platform optimization. Similarly, you will be responsible for proposing and implementing solutions that support the growth and expansion of MIR Asturias’s business, optimizing internal processes to achieve business objectives and ensure the best possible user experience. **Strategy and Policies:** * Lead and define the platform’s technological strategy, establishing the solution’s evolution within the organization, evaluating which solutions should be implemented on the platform, and identifying opportunities to accelerate digitalization through Low\-Code solutions. * Create, document, and enforce development policies—including standards, modularity, scalable design, component reuse, UI/UX standards, and integration policies. * Define security policies, ensuring compliance with ISO 27001 requirements. * Define architecture and scalability strategy. * Quality management: definition of policies and metrics. * Management of all reported incidents. * Control and monitoring: implement tools and methodologies to ensure adherence to deadlines and quality, identifying and assessing risks that may impact the platform. * Communication and leadership: foster collaboration and maintain smooth communication with internal teams, vendors, and students. * Continuous improvement: analyze results from your area of responsibility and apply lessons learned to optimize future processes. **Team and Project Management:** * Management of external vendors: set performance objectives and ensure both their performance and development. * Workload management and task assignment. * Clear and structured communication. * Authoring of relevant functional and technical documentation. **Labor Relations:** * Internal relations: report directly to the MIR Asturias Technology Manager and to the Group’s Technology Directorate. **Requirements:** --------------- **REQUIREMENTS** * Technical leadership. * Team management: integration with teams from other areas. * Interdepartmental coordination. * Documentation of various project components and end-user training. * Direct interaction with internal clients. * Conducting post\-implementation evaluations to identify improvement opportunities and lessons learned. * Change management: effectively manage organizational change associated with the implementation of new information systems. * Intermediate level of English. **REQUIRED EXPERIENCE** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field. * Over 5 years of experience in a similar role, with demonstrable experience in OutSystems development and the Azure environment. * Experience in the education sector is highly valued. * Training in software architecture or project management is desirable. * Ability to work with diverse vendors and distributed teams. * Strong knowledge of agile methodologies—Scrum, DevOps, Agile, DevSecOps—is highly valued. * Knowledge of Moodle is desirable
