Job Summary: SOCOTEC Spain is seeking an Architect or Civil Engineer with experience in structural analysis to lead building construction projects, coordinate teams, and develop structural solutions. You will join the Structural Engineering department, participating in the development and coordination of building construction projects of various types and complexity levels, technically leading assigned projects and coordinating both internal teams and technical communication with clients. What will be your responsibilities? * Management, development, and delivery of building structural engineering projects. * Coordination of the project team (engineers and BIM modelers). * Preparation and review of structural calculation models. * Development of structural solutions for: + concrete + steel structures + foundations + retaining structures + timber structures (valuable) * Technical coordination with architecture, MEP, and other disciplines. * Participation in meetings with clients, regulatory bodies, and external stakeholders. * Preparation and review of: + drawings + reports + calculation justifications + technical specifications * Technical monitoring and control of project deliverables. What are we looking for? * Architect or Civil Engineer with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in building structural analysis. * Experience in projects involving: + residential buildings + healthcare facilities + commercial buildings + unique structures * Experience in technical coordination of projects. * Knowledge of Spanish structural regulations. * Advanced proficiency in: + Robot Structural Analysis + CYPECAD * Valuable knowledge of: + SAP2000 + Cedrus + BIM / 3D modeling * Experience in technical communication with: + architectural firms + project managers + clients + regulatory bodies What do we offer? * Permanent contract. * Full-time position. * Location: Madrid. * Working hours: + Monday to Thursday: 9:00–18:30 + Friday: 9:00–15:00 * Remote work opportunities. * Birthday leave. * Flexible compensation program. * Competitive salary commensurate with experience. **If you are interested in joining our team and meet the requirements, we look forward to receiving your application!**
