Drive operational excellence and support long-term business success **About the Role** As Transition Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the seamless onboarding of new customers and services into live operational environments. Reporting to the Site Operations Director, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of service mobilisation, ensuring that infrastructure, processes, and teams are fully prepared to support contracted service levels from day one. You will lead cross\-functional planning and execution across Facilities, Technical Services, Commercial, Compliance, and Security teams, ensuring that all transition activities are aligned with site priorities, customer requirements, and enterprise\-wide standards. Your role will include managing mobilisation timelines, risk assessments, documentation, and stakeholder communications to ensure readiness and accountability throughout the transition lifecycle. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead the end\-to\-end planning and execution of customer and service transitions into live operational environments. * Ensure all mobilisation activities, from infrastructure readiness to documentation and team coordination, are delivered to scope, timeline, and quality standards. * Support the seamless integration of new services into the data centre environment, ensuring operational resilience and alignment with site priorities. * Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to maintain 24/7 service continuity during mobilisation phases. * Contribute to OPEX control and CAPEX planning by identifying resource needs, cost impacts, and optimisation opportunities during transition. * Lead risk assessments and incident response planning to embed resilience and accountability into transition programmes. * Use project management tools, dashboards, and performance data to inform decision\-making, monitor progress, and identify areas for improvement. **About you** You’re a highly organised, solutions‑driven professional with strong experience coordinating complex service mobilisations or operational transitions. You excel at bringing structure, clarity, and control to fast‑moving environments—aligning teams, processes, and infrastructure to ensure customers are onboarded smoothly and operations are fully prepared from day one. With a strong understanding of governance, risk management, and stakeholder coordination, you can anticipate issues early, maintain transparent communication, and drive accountability across all functions involved in the transition. Collaborative and confident, you work seamlessly with Facilities, Technical Services, Commercial, Compliance, and Security teams to deliver integrated, resilient solutions. You are proactive, detail‑focused, and calm under pressure, using data, dashboards, and performance metrics to guide decision‑making and continuously improve mobilisation processes.
