Be part of an international team, thrive in a global group with a €800M turnover and over 1,000 clients worldwide, and an agile environment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in building scalable, high\-quality applications and is comfortable working across the entire stack. ✍️ WHAT WOULD YOU NEED? ✍️ \+5–7 years of experience as a Project Manager in API\-driven environments (Banking background is mandatory). Proven experience designing APIs from scratch (API contracts, versioning, error handling, governance). Background as a Backend Developer (hands\-on experience in the past, able to justify and challenge API designs). Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs, API standards, governance, and global API catalogs. Experience working in Banking or Financial Services environments. Strong analytical mindset, with exposure to data analysis and UX–Data Mapping. Ability to act as a bridge between Business, Frontend, Backend, Architects, and Product Owners. Experience working with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and tools like Jira. Excellent stakeholder management skills in complex, international environments. Fluent Spanish and English (mandatory). Availability to work hybrid in Madrid (2 days onsite). Experience in international/global projects is a strong plus. Knowledge of analytics tools (Adobe Analytics, Athenea) and internal frameworks is a plus. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING? Lead the design, definition, and evolution of global APIs supporting core business processes (especially new customer onboarding). Define API contracts (inputs, outputs, versioning, errors) aligned with global standards and governance. Ensure consistency and reuse across existing and new APIs, avoiding local solutions that break global architecture. Act as the technical point of contact between countries, frontend teams, backend teams, architects, and product owners. Translate business and UX needs into scalable, reusable API solutions. Evaluate the impact of new requirements on frontend, backend, legacy systems, and global architecture. Collaborate daily with Product Owners, Tech Leads, Architects, and Security teams. Support the PO during pre\-development phases (business definition, UX design, analytics, backlog refinement). Manage dependencies across multiple teams and geographies to ensure smooth delivery. Define API versioning strategies, evolution rules, backward compatibility, and testing approaches. Promote best practices, standards, and continuous improvement in API design at a global level.
